TOUR GUARANTEE

The experience and passion of our team guarantee the search for whales. We are able to cover a wide range of distances beyond the bay of Cabo San Lucas. There is a 99% chance of seeing whales. In Cabo San Lucas we have a 90% chance to see humpback whales and the other 9% corresponds to the sighting of other species: gray, pilot, sperm, minke, Bryde’s whales, orcas, etc.

There are many reasons why it is not guaranteed to see certain species when scuba diving, even if you are in the right place at the right time. Some of these reasons include:

  • The animal's natural behavior. Some animals are simply more elusive than others. They may be nocturnal, or they may only come out to feed at certain times of the day. They may also be very shy and will avoid divers if they see them.

  • The animal's habitat. Some animals are only found in certain types of habitats. For example, sharks are typically found in deeper water, while sea turtles are more likely to be found in shallow water. If you are not diving in the right habitat, you are unlikely to see these animals.

  • The animal's migration patterns. Some animals migrate seasonally, so they may not be present in the area when you are diving. For example, humpback whales migrate from the Arctic to the Antarctic every year. If you are trying to book an experience in summer, you are unlikely to see any humpback whales.

  • The animal's population size. Some animals are simply rare, and there may not be many of them in the area.

  • The weather. The weather can also affect the visibility underwater, which can make it difficult to see animals. If the water is too murky, you may not be able to see anything at all.

In addition to these factors, there are also some things that divers can do to reduce their chances of seeing certain species. For example, divers should avoid making loud noises, which can scare away animals. Divers should also be respectful of the animals' space, and should not try to touch or harass them.

By understanding the reasons why it is not guaranteed to see certain species when scuba diving, divers can set realistic expectations and enjoy their time underwater without disappointment.
